Well, seeing as I've already spent NEXT paycheque on a new video card, I'll have to wait at least a few days before I grab CoD2 hehe

With regard to brightness settings I always up mine a tad, and I suspect for any real challenge/juice circle tactics brightness would need to be extremely high; in this way increasing visual acuity, etc.

But even with minimal experimentation there appears to be not only just darker areas than before, but more areas, realistic ones such as anti-chambers, closets, more nooks and smaller rooms with blown out walls. It seems more realistic, and I'd say with that realism comes the suprise and art of camping.

With smooth walls and less damage to buildings the fighting areas are controlled, with control removed and destruction about the opportunity to hide is increased and ambush increases as a consequence.

No joke, I was top of the ladder with a shotgun and campsites the other nights. I selected three sites or so and rotated through them covering the various areas inside each building, ya know, this minute the front, next two minutes the back, then to the top, and then displace, that sort of thing. All I used was the shotgun, very effective. And if you run into someone by chance in the street its a one-shot kill, point and they are down...

Sounds like they made it "easier" now
