Well, it came in yesterday.
(Along with 768 rounds of M2 Ball Ammo for the Garand, UPS guy was busy!)
Hooked it up, and copied over my steam directory, and played CS 1.6 at 1600x1200. it was silky smooth! W00t!
Map changes used to take about 3 minutes, now about 5 seconds!
I'm goona get the BF2 demo and try that.

I know I'm a bit late to the topic, and I'm sorry for pushing it to the top again, but a question I have concerning the monitor. That 20 inch LCD may have latency issues because of its size -- (may, not definate) -- so if you experience difficulty in any FPS games like COD, or Source, (difficulty being, you get shot before you realize the enemy is there or you can't seem to lock on a target) it may be because of the monitor - THE SYSTEM is SWEET though. I must say I am envious. If I were running it, I'd hook up a CRT as my main and place that sweet 20" next to it for movies and well, everything else.
*edit**
This post was to be a help, not a rip on your monitor... as i re-read it, I can see how some might get that impression. Enjoy your sweet rig

Heya Sik,
Nope, it has a pretty decent latency. I did some research on it, and I was afraid of it at first, but it turned out ok. Ghosting, I think is how some folks describe it.

Yep LCDs are at the point where theyre definately fast enough to play games. I play games on my lovely brand new LCD myself. I love it, picture quality beats my old CRT easily hehe

I have a 21" CRT and I still play at 800x600 on my geforce 6800GT
Makes people's heads easier targets to hit!

I never thought about it that way! I'm at 1600x1200, I'm gonna try a lower setting.

Yeah 800*600 is very common in cs - some guys play even lower in competition @ 640*480
keep in mind - lower rez = higher freq and refresh
& for those looking to be in competition,
skill is 25% of the game, mouse/mouse surface combo is another 25%, sound/headset 25%, gaming rig incl. monitor is 25%.
I couldn't get used to the crystal definition on earlier LCD's - maybe the new ones are acceptable -- makes ya wonder why CPL events don't make the switch - 21" CRT are close in $ to 19" LCD's
I think it would be cool to post configs online to help everyone out that still plays cs - if nothing else, it might be a good laugh. Everytime I look at xf|vito's I can't stop laughing
