Can't you feel our souls ignite
Shedding ever changing colours,
in the darkness of the fading night,
Like the river joins the ocean,
as the germ in a seed grows
We have finally been freed to get back home.

Yes, but do you think 2005 was year 1 of a new bull market,
or year 5 of the old bear market?

I'm hoping it is year one of the bull. We are now back to pre 9/11 levels. The economy, in general, looks quite strong.

If the fed raises rates agan, it may dampen things a bit, though.

Oh, and google at $500? I'm too chicken for that stock.

Good Job, I am just under 11,000 myself
A good plan, violently executed now, is better than a perfect plan next week. A pint of sweat, saves a gallon of blood. No poor bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making other bastards die for their country.

Ummmm, these people are talking about graphics cards, when this thread is obviously about the stock market actually regaining ground on where it was 5 years ago.

Yep, the dow above 13000 for the first time, not where it was 5 years ago. I think folks were confused on the 2006 posting and thought it was bf2 scores.

So, if you were in the market from Jan 2006, it has been a good ride up.
