2007 - This is Earth shattering news!!!
Here's a single sentance to think about:
"Set hundreds of years after the events of the first movie when the world has once again fallen into darkness, Power of the Dark Crystal follows the adventures of a mysterious girl made of fire who, together with a Gelfling outcast, steals a shard of the legendary Crystal in an attempt to reignite the dying sun that exists at the center of the planet."

Yeah, it's the camera angles. Shot as if you were a mouse on the floor looking up the whole time. They had to hide the fact that someone was sticking their hands through the floor into a puppet. Which made it an awkward movie to watch. I ended up buying the DVD this weekend, and never felt comfortable with the camera angles. This new movie will use CG so that won't be much of a problem. But it was still a good movie.Death_Dealer[CotC] wrote:OK it is entertaining but visually lacking. There thats more politically correct.
I also picked up Mirror Mask, and my kids loved that one even more than The Dark Crystal. But, it's a visually rich film!
