Call of Duty 2 has landed!

Post by Baron[CotC] »

Clan of the Camper is pleased to announce the birth of a new CoD2 server under our flag.

Call of Duty 2 is now playing at
server.campquake.net
port 28961

thats: 216.145.96.110:28961

this is NOT the default port as CoD1 and CoD2 share the default port number.

Currently its fairly barebones, I havent been able to get a handle on the new server cvars, but we'll adjust it as we go.

Enjoy!

hopefully the pings will lower a bit when we throw some more RAM at the server

DoD Source has been hogging the resources hehe

I ping around 50, which is pretty good. I tried it today however and I was experiencing some random glitching and movement, it would stabalize for a while then go crazy all of a sudden then go back to normal. Could be my connection though

I have some 216 ram sticks at home, not sure if they could be of any use.

216 ram sticks! damn if those were fish sticks I'd never go hungry again 8) hehe

all under control Buzzed, we'll use the server fund to get what the server needs.

As for grenade priming -- you all realize if that gets installed onto the server I'll win every game right?
