Ok, so just the two of us in Q2 Lithium, we did have someone actually join in (non-CotC) for about 60 seconds. Mav scared him off maybe.
IMO, CotC would play en mass when the big game out was Quake 2. Since Q2, and new games came out, I don't think we've played at that same level of camping, and comradery. (sp)
We used to have nearly the entire clan at any given time in a server, doing some major camping.
Anyone Quake 2 capable, or those who have it, but not installed, I'd love to get everyone into a game one day soon.

Hey Torque, don't you remember giving your Q2 cd to someone on here to have them put a backup copy in a safe place in case something like this happened? I seem to recall you talking about that a while back. The only problem is that I don't remember who you were talking with, but I'm pretty sure it was someone that is still around. Maybe they can point you in the right direction.

Uhhh, that's sorta the point about off-site back-ups. That you don't actually *say* you don't have a copy.D.A.R.K.[CotC] wrote:I'd like a backup copy of that, since I don't even have my own copy to begin with.
Because, as everyone knows, stealing s/w is illegal. And Clan of the Camper would never sanction such a thing.
However, storing an off-site copy of someone's valuable software is a kind gesture to your Clan mate.
See the difference?
Funny thing: Id Software still sells Quake 1, 2, and 3 for $25 each. Which reminds me, I used the "can't buy it in the stores" excuse a long time ago when I bought Quake 1. At the time, I found the shareware CD and bought that mistaking it for the full retail version. (They look identical.) When I went to buy it at the store, they only had Quake 2. Now I own a copy of Q2 and Q3, but never bought Q1! I guess I have to come clean on that purchase before the pirate hunters come knock on my door!

Funny you should ask, Night Reaver spent a lot of work updating our list! Go over to our Operations site www.campquake.org and pick "Servers" from the list on the left.Night Hawk wrote:Lets see here.......*pulls out gold key, slices through zombies, battles demons, opens door* ahh...I knew I put it somewhere for safe keeping.
*starts Quake 2 install*
Now.......where can I find CotC Quake server info?
