Being released on Monday.... at 3pm (eastern I think?)...

I just saw a bunch of video clips on IGN... the game looks awesome.

Too bad they are charging $$ for it. As a free mod, I loved playing it, but am unsure of paying for a mod.

you should already have access to it if you bought HL2 silver or gold however.

I don't even know what HL2 package I have, but chance are, I'll probably have to pay for it - which may delay my game

Anyone know if there's a server executable for it yet?
I think we should be one of the first to get a server up

...agreed, and I think there is.. I think I read something about it recently.. and btw... here is a link to video clips of DOD:S..

is there a way to tell which package you purchased? I am pretty sure that I purchased the retail version that came with the 5 installation discs, but am not 100% sure.

If you got it on Steam, you'll know what package you got.. if you got it at the store, you will have the equivelancy of the Bronze steam package, in which case, you'll need to pay for DOD:S.

I have the HL2 5 disc set as well, with a silver-green colored box. Seems I have all the programs. Downloading DOD Source right now. Cost $17.95 American.

Supposedly Valve was supposed to release the server files 2 days prior to the release of the game. On time as usual!

Well, CS:S is still messed up from recent Steam update. My ping to our server was 10ms or less, now it is unplayable at 300+

ya...that's why i figured it should be around somewhere to find.. but still not out? typical, eh? i just hope they dont end up pushing back the release time of noon tomorrow...
